If you’re a practice owner who wants to brand, market and build your practice from a faith-based perspective, or you want to level up your private pay or group practice, you’re in the right place.
How I Can Help You Take Your Practice to the Next Level
These are some of the pain points that I, Whitney Owens, help practice owners with, how to:
- Start a faith-based practice or grow an already established faith-based practice.
- Market yourself and your practice, complete with branding and marketing materials.
- Attract your ideal client to ensure you are only doing work you love.
- Onboard clinicians who are aligned with the values of your practice.
- Increase private pay clients.
- Determine he best fit for your hiring needs, such as the difference between W2 employees and 1099 Contractors.
- Create a company culture to maximize referrals.
- Develop a team and creating systems to maximize efficiency in your practice.
“Whitney is an amazing private practice consultant. When I started my faith-based private practice in January, I didn’t have the first clue about what I was doing. Now fast forward 5 months later, and I already have 20 ideal clients! And she helped me get there during a global pandemic! If you are a faith-based practitioner who needs help with getting your private practice up and running, you must work with Whitney!”
– Stu Cook
“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Whitney! She has helped me to shift from a single practitioner to a group practice owner with two hired clinicians in just six months. She has been invaluable in terms of the wisdom, resources, accountability and support she provides. I have signed on for another six months of coaching because of how helpful she has been! I would highly recommend her to any practitioner who is ready to jump start their goals and make tangible progress!!! It is easier than you think, thanks to Whitney’s support!!! Thank you Whitney, I couldn’t have done it without you.”
– Jennifer Martin
“My work with Whitney has been transformative. Just our initial consult call was motivational enough for me to leave my part time job at a university and dive fully into my group practice rather than just be part time. I saw so much growth and the launching of a consultation business. I have been able to look at my systems and scale accordingly by adding additional admin staff to support the small-medium size practice. I appreciated Whitney’s warmth, support, and directness that challenged me to take my practice to the next level. I am truly thriving now and continuing to challenge beliefs that keep me from reaching my full potential in all areas of my life.”

My Approach to Consulting
At Practice of the Practice, we take a catered approach to helping you. What that means is that we want to match you with the best consultant, model (one-on-one or group), and price point. With me, you have two options: One-on-one consulting or Faith in Practice Mastermind.
My one-on-one consulting consists of a package of consulting sessions and other resources designed specifically for a faith-based practice owner’s, private pay owner’s, or group practice owner’s goals. Some common reasons people seek out individual consulting are:
- They own a private pay practice, or group private practice, and are unsure how to level up
- They are having difficulty marketing themselves
- These entrepreneurs have started a faith-based practice, but are experiencing difficulties with getting it to run efficiently
- They want to start a faith-based practice, but would prefer to work on it individually rather than in the mastermind group.
- These practice owners are unsure how to make faith a part of their counseling and business.
Faith in Practice Mastermind
This group is designed for clinicians who have established a solo practice and are ready to take it to the next level. Through teaching modules, mastermind sessions, and downloadable resources, I guide you through all of the foundational elements of establishing a faith-based practice. Topics include how to:
- Attract your ideal client
- Onboard clinicians
- Market yourself, just to name a few.
“Working with Whitney as my consultant is hands down the best professional investment I’ve ever made (though it started through Killin It Camp so I have to give props to that as well!). In October of 2019, I was “maybe starting a group practice” and by April we were working together. As fall approaches I’m looking to hire two more clinicians and I can’t believe how fast things are moving and in such an organized direction. All through the pandemic, no less. 5 stars all around!”

“To say that I have enjoyed and valued consultation with Whitney would be an understatement. I came to Whitney at a time when business was booming but I was so disorganized as a leader and practice owner my group was about to bury me alive. Whitney was patient yet direct with the necessary steps I needed to make leading my group more efficient, effective, sustainable, and fun! In addition, since Whitney also runs her group from a faith-based perspective I really felt that Whitney understood the heartbeat of my group from the start. I would highly recommend Whitney to any group owner looking to get more out of their group and their experience as a group owner!”

Both Whitney and Alison host two membership communities for group practice owners, namely Group Practice Boss and Group Practice Launch.
